Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week LTC/SNF travel assignment in Luverne, MN, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a current MN RN license.

Details

• Long-term care / skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting with 51 beds
• Patient population consists primarily of geriatric residents with dementia
• Nurse-to-patient ratios are 2 nurses on day shift and 1 nurse overnight
• Primarily 12-hour shifts with some 8-hour shifts; day/night rotating schedule
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities
• EMR: Point Click Care (PCC)

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required — no exceptions
• LTC/SNF or post-acute care experience strongly applicable to this role
• Point Click Care (PCC) EMR experience preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Orientation consists of approximately 2 hours with the LEAD team followed by 1–2 shifts on the floor with existing staff
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and are subject to a local pay rate
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
