Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED experience, prior travel assignment completion, and proficiency in Cerner.
Details
- Work in a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department
- Patient ratio of 1:4-6
- Evening shift schedule working 3x12-hour shifts (choice of 11AM–11PM or 3PM–3AM)
- Every other weekend required, totaling 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday and Saturday nights)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Combined Adult/Pediatric ED experience required
- At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Royal blue scrubs required; scrubs are not provided
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
- All requested time off must be communicated upfront at the time of consideration
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
