Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Emergency Department position at a critical access hospital in Oregon, with floating requirements to Med/Surg and weekend availability required.
Details
- Work setting is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a Trauma Level IV designation
- Emergency Department position with float responsibility to Med/Surg as needed
- Candidates with OB experience are strongly preferred for the float capability
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45am–7:15pm
- Weekend availability is required
- Block scheduling may be accommodated depending on days needed
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license required; pending license accepted with proof of application submitted
- Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC
- Preferred certifications: NIHSS and NRP
- Must be willing and able to float to Med/Surg
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration and will not be approved after an offer is made; maximum of 5 days RTO, with only 1 holiday approvable — candidates cannot take every holiday off
- Former employees must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- No scrub color restrictions — any colors or patterns are welcome
- Free parking on site
