Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring 18 months of recent specialty experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• Epic EMR experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• First-time travelers are not required for this specialty per facility guidelines
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• All RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
• Background check findings of any kind will be reviewed by the facility, and open cases will not be accepted
• Any hits on professional license will not be accepted by the facility
• Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
