Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR - Circulate RN for a 13-week travel contract in Pontiac, MI, requiring 2+ years of OR experience and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties.
Details
- Day shift position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (0900-1730)
- 8-hour shifts with rotation of on-call, weekends, and holidays
- Weekend and holiday coverage is required
- On-call responsibilities are included in this role
- Specialty coverage includes Orthopedic, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro surgical cases
- Circulating role within the Operating Room
Requirements
- Active Michigan (MI) RN license required; LARA and Nursys verification will be required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- Must be able to circulate independently
- Experience across Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro surgical specialties required
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- A skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration

- Delivers nursing care through the nursing process, collaborating with the broader healthcare team to uphold professional nursing standards
- Trauma Level II facility
- Candidates who are or have been full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this contract
