Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of pediatric critical care experience for a day shift travel assignment at a children's hospital in Georgia.
Details
- Pediatric hospital setting with assignments across the ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas
- Patient population includes critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients in the PICU, NICU, and ED
- Uses Epic EMR
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Every other weekend is required
- Floating is required across units
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of experience, with extensive pediatric critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED required
- Level I trauma experience highly preferred
- Active Georgia RT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Flu vaccination required for the 2025–2026 flu season; no exemptions (including medical or religious) will be accepted
- Two professional references preferred
- Date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide registered respiratory therapy services across pediatric ICU, ED, and general care settings
- This is a nicotine-free facility; candidates must complete nicotine testing in addition to a standard drug screen
- Please submit any requested time off (RTO) at the time of consideration
