Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Plymouth, MA, requiring a MA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of IR experience.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
- 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- Weekend coverage required for stress testing responsibilities
- No on-call requirements
- Floating is not required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must be able to pass a Telemetry/ECG Competency Exam
- Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Documented professional development activities required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions permitted); flu vaccine required during flu season
- Flu vaccine documentation required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides nursing care within the Interventional Radiology department, including weekend coverage for stress testing
- Prior to assignment start, candidates must pass a Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) test administered via Zoom — passing score is 85%, with one attempt only and no opportunity for remediation or re-sit; study materials will be provided
- Testing must be completed within 48 hours of assignment confirmation
- An interview with the hiring manager is required; candidates should have availability ready
- Orientation is held biweekly
- Candidates who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break before being considered
- Weekend and holiday coverage is expected
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission
