Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an acute care hospital assignment in California.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a PT unit
- Schedule is Tuesday–Friday 10:00am–6:30pm and Saturday 8:00am–4:30pm (5x8-hour day shifts)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PT program required
- Active CA PT license required; approved license applicants or residents in a training program may also be considered - license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include developing and updating patient Plans of Care, progressing treatment, completing evaluations and charge capture documentation, and coordinating with interdisciplinary care teams
- Provides clinical supervision to PT assistants and/or aides, and may serve as a clinical instructor for students
- Participates in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary projects
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
- Former employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved
