Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with Cath Lab and IR procedural experience, including fluoroscopy and cardiac experience, for a 13-week travel assignment in Ohio.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within an academic medical center setting
- Performs fluoroscopy-guided IR and Cath Lab procedures
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Call required every fourth weekend and one day per week
- Holiday coverage follows a call rotation schedule
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
Requirements
- ARRT certification and current Ohio state license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Formal radiological technology training from an AMA-approved program required
- Cath Lab and/or IR procedural experience required, including scrub experience
- Fluoroscopy experience required
- Cardiac interventional experience required
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and transfer up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and kneel frequently
- Visual acuity of 20/20 or corrected to 20/20, including color vision when applicable
- Must be able to assume on-call responsibilities
- Two professional references required for consideration
- A copy of valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

Cons
Training on th intermediate floor could be better. An actual list of how to do things. Floating to different units also can get annoying.
