Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2+ years of cath lab experience at a Level 1 trauma center, with on-call responsibilities included.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Performs emergency and elective angioplasty procedures, including drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology, and pacemaker implantation
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour shifts), 40 hours per week
• On-call required: 2 weekends and 15 shifts during the contract

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required; BSN highly desired
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — AHA-issued certifications only
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience in a U.S. hospital required
• Recent acute care experience required
• U.S. SSN required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Date of birth required for consideration

• Provides patient care functions in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements, fulfilling the needs of patients, families, and the community
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• 13-week contract
