Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift contract at a pediatric children's hospital in Springdale, AR, with Epic experience required.
Details
- Work in the respiratory therapy unit of the region's only children's hospital, a critical access pediatric facility
- Pediatric patient population across inpatient, ER, OR, and outpatient clinic settings
- Facility includes 24 inpatient beds, 25 ER beds, 5 OR suites, 30 outpatient clinic rooms, and full diagnostic services (CT, MRI, X-Ray)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Floating to other pediatric units required when necessary
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
- Holiday coverage required as needed
- Scheduling is managed by the facility — no self-scheduling
Requirements
- Active RRT credential required — CRT not accepted
- BLS certification required
- Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, TNCC) may be required based on unit needs
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 1 professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
- Completed specialty skills checklist required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services across a range of pediatric inpatient and outpatient care settings
- Candidates must be nicotine-free — negative nicotine test required
- Attendance and schedule adherence are strictly enforced throughout the assignment
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
