Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an on-site clinic position in Jacksonville, FL, requiring CNMT or ARRT (N) certification and PET/CT and/or Nuclear Cardiology experience.

Details

  • Work is performed on-site at an outpatient clinic Nuclear Medicine department in Jacksonville, FL
  • PET/CT scanning and/or Nuclear Cardiology (Cardiolite perfusion) procedures performed
  • Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Epic used for charting

Requirements

  • CNMT (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (N) certification required
  • Active Florida Department of Health License in Nuclear Medicine required — license required if applicable
  • BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
  • Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required
  • PET/CT and/or Nuclear Cardiology experience required
  • No pending licenses accepted — active licensure required at time of consideration
  • 2 references with facility name, supervisor name, and supervisor phone number required for consideration
  • Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Produces high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with departmental radiology standards
  • Operates PET/CT scanner and/or performs Nuclear Cardiology Cardiolite perfusion scans
  • Adheres to safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and self
  • Works collaboratively within a large radiology team, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • COVID vaccination and booster required
  • Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may work up to one calendar year from their initial start date, after which a 30–60 day break is required before returning
