Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at an acute care hospital in Panama City, FL, requiring 2+ years of OR circulator experience and robotic surgery skills.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a 216-bed acute care hospital in Panama City, FL
• 11-bed OR suite performing all procedures across all specialties, including neuro, robotics, pediatrics, and orthopedics
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Robotic equipment in use includes Da Vinci Xi and Mako systems
• Documentation system: Meditech
• 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Rotating weekends and on-call required
• 13-week travel contract

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR circulator
• Robotic surgical experience required (Da Vinci Xi and Mako systems)
• CNOR certification preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required for FL-based candidates

Additional Information

• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Navy blue scrubs required
• The facility is a Joint Commission Top Performer recognized for heart failure, heart attack, pneumonia, surgical care, and perinatal care, with additional certifications in stroke and wound care
