Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation (IRF) night shift position at a CARF-accredited rehabilitation hospital in Waukesha, WI, requiring rehab and med-surg experience.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting within a 40-bed hospital
- Rehabilitation nursing unit serving patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Must notify the facility as soon as possible, or at least 3 hours before a shift, if unable to report
- EMR: Epic
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
- AHA certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Rehab and med-surg nursing experience required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Facility is CARF-accredited for its Stroke Specialty Program, Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program, and Amputation Specialty Program
- Strong customer service skills are highly valued in this role
- Preferred experience includes skilled nursing in addition to rehab and med-surg backgrounds
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
