Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a five-day, 8-hour afternoon shift assignment requiring current scrub and circulate experience.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a teaching hospital
• Shift is five 8-hour afternoon shifts (3:00 PM-11:30 PM)
• 10/12hr shifts are not available for this position
• Weekend work may be required, with holiday coverage required if needed
• On-call responsibilities may apply

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand prior to consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
• Minimum 2 years of current OR RN experience required
• Scrub and circulate experience required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Requires current OR Circulate and OR Scrub skills checklists within the past year
• Requires one signed supervisory reference from within the past two years

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care supporting surgical patients from pre-op through recovery
• Work alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technicians, and therapists as part of the surgical team
• Facility will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility
• Any requested time off must be submitted and verified at the time of profile submission, with a maximum of 5 days accepted
• Scheduling requests made after offer or during interview will not be approved
