Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel contract requiring CA licensure, Fluoroscopy licensure, and ARRT (XR) certification.
Details
- Acute care hospital radiology/X-Ray department
- 5x8 hour day shifts, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Rotating every 3rd weekend required
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray experience required
- Current BLS (AHA) required
- CA CRT licensure required (license required if applicable)
- Fluoroscopy licensure required
- ARRT (XR) certification required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Competently performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images
- Works independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures in a timely manner
- Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- May assist with orienting other staff to the department
- Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Former employees must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
