Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical ICU (MICU) night shift position in Tuscaloosa, AL, requiring at least 1 year of recent ICU experience and an active AL or compact RN license with no license hits.
Details
- Night shift position in a Medical ICU (MICU) setting
- Shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- Meditech EMR in use (experience not required)
Requirements
- Active Alabama or Compact RN license required — no pending or temporary licenses accepted
- No hits on license(s) allowed, past or current
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of recent ICU experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Two professional references from within the last year required for consideration
- Current driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- ICU RNs are required to complete both an online pre-test and an on-site assessment
- Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules — no HealthStream modules required prior to start
- Timekeeping is managed through Centricity
- Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rates — no radius restrictions
