Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift travel assignment in a hospital-based Respiratory Therapy department, requiring at least 2 years of experience and active RRT licensure and certification.

Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy department
Day shift hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
13-week contract

Requirements

Active RRT license and certification required (license required if applicable)
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
Must have worked in the role within the last 6 months
ACLS certification required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment (AHA or ARC accepted)
BLS required (AHA or ARC accepted)
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
One professional reference required
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
NRP certification is required if the role involves caring for neonatal patients

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish.
