Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Skilled Nursing night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Rehab center/nursing home setting providing skilled nursing and long-term care
• 17 skilled nursing beds and 55 long-term care beds
• Patient ratio of 1:17
• Skilled care and orthopedic short-term rehab patients
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• No on-call requirements
• No 48-hour work requirement
• Floating to long-term care required
• Block scheduling may be possible upon request
• Uses Point Click Care EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or compact)
• Current CPR certification
• 2+ years of recent RN experience required
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days of assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include rounds, medication administration, supervising CNAs, and possible wound care
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be less than one week and RTO blackout dates apply from 9/7 through Labor Day
• Candidates who worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
