Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical ICU (day shift) position in Maine, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and an active ME or compact RN license.

• Hospital ICU/Surgical Care Unit setting in Damariscotta, ME
• Day shift schedule: 5:45 AM – 6:15 PM
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used at this facility
• Float policy requires travel between facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed

Requirements

• Active ME or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required; non-AHA certifications accepted at submission but AHA-issued certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/surgical ICU nursing experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Personal electronic devices including AirPods, laptops, and cell phones are prohibited on the unit
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (Maine or New Hampshire residents) are considered local and are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• RTO should be kept to a minimum; approximately 3–4 days per 13-week contract is considered reasonable, subject to manager discretion
