Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and a Maine or compact RN license.

Details

• Work on the Med/Surg 3rd Floor unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule
• Float policy requires flexibility to work at facilities within 25 miles as needed
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current AHA certifications required prior to start date (non-AHA certifications accepted at time of consideration)
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (Maine or New Hampshire residents) will be considered local, with local candidates not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at the manager's discretion
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
• Personal use of AirPods, laptops, and cell phones is prohibited while on the unit
