Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with adult critical care experience for a night shift travel assignment at a hospital in Arlington, TX.

• Adult critical care patient population
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Documents using Meditech EMR
• Floating required on an as-needed basis
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RRT license and certification required; license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with adult critical care experience required
• Active ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Must have active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs not accepted
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered

Additional Information

• Provides respiratory therapy services in an adult critical care setting
• Dress code includes scrubs; artificial nails, gel, and next-gen nails are not permitted
• Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
• Visible piercings beyond the ears (including nose and tongue rings) are not permitted
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
