Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 3 years of ICU experience and a valid CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital ICU setting
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- Every 3rd weekend required
- Float requirement includes floating to Med/Surg (3-patient assignment or sitter role), ED (helping hands or sitter), and other ICUs within the regional hospital network (Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, Porter)
- At least 2 hours advance notice provided when floating outside of primary site
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- BLS certification through AHA required
- Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
- Willingness to float between multiple hospital locations within the region
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Calling off on a weekend or holiday may result in being rescheduled for another weekend or holiday per facility policy
- Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required or an approved declination; booster is not currently required
- Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
