Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Keene, NH, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
- Midwife-led, low-intervention approach emphasizing natural birth with access to broader medical resources as needed
- Patient population spans infancy through adulthood, with a focus on Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother/Baby care
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
- 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend required with holiday rotation
- On-call requirements to be determined
- Epic EMR required
Requirements
- Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- AWHONN certification within the past 3 years preferred
- Personal vehicle required
- NH Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required — visit oplc.nh.gov/nurse-agencies for details
Additional Information
- Provides individualized nursing care across the lifespan using knowledge of age-related growth and development
- Candidates must not be simultaneously working another permanent or travel assignment
- Block scheduling and non-standard schedule accommodations will not be considered
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — a maximum of 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and requests made after an offer is extended will not be approved
- All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance
