Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Hematology/Oncology inpatient unit position in Boston, MA, requiring strong high-acuity oncology experience and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit (Lunder 10) in a large academic medical center setting
- High-acuity patient population including BMT and Cell Therapy (CAR-T) patients
- 36 hours per week on a day/night rotating schedule
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Every other holiday (EOH) required
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- BLS certification required (AHA only — Red Cross not accepted at this location)
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Strong hematology/oncology experience in high-acuity inpatient settings required
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
- Active MA license must be in hand prior to consideration — no pending licenses accepted
Additional Information
- Experience with BMT or CAR-T therapy is a strong plus
- ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification (preferred)
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential is preferred but not required
- Experience with inpatient oncology research patients is a plus
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
- No validated parking available at this Boston location; public parking costs approximately $17–$22 per day, and public transportation is recommended
- Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
- 13-week assignment
