Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring at least 2 years of experience with labor, postpartum, and nursery care on a night shift schedule.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with a 10-bed LDRP unit, Level II Nursery, and one Operating Suite
- Unit performs approximately 50–65 deliveries per month
- Night shift schedule: 7pm–7am, 12-hour shifts, minimum 3 shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- EMR: MEDITECH
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active MO or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Experience with labor, postpartum, and nursery care required
- BSN not required
Additional Information
- All LDRP RNs are cross-trained for Labor & Delivery, Couplet Care, Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, and C-section circulation
- Primary emphasis is on experienced Labor & Delivery nursing, with competency in both labor/postpartum and nursery care highly valued
- OR green scrubs required; provided by the facility with access to a changing locker room
- Facility is located in a peak tourism area through Labor Day — candidates should be prepared to secure housing promptly
