Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Sioux City, IA, requiring Epic proficiency and at least one prior travel contract.

Details

Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
Every other weekend required
No on-call responsibilities
Patient ratio of 5–6 patients per nurse on nights
EMR: Epic (experience required)
Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required

Requirements

Active IA RN license or compact RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
At least 1 completed travel contract required
Epic EMR experience required
Valid driver's license required for consideration
One supervisory reference (within 2 years of employment/contract) required for consideration

Additional Information

Contributes clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients as part of an interdisciplinary team
Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week and Christmas/New Year's holiday windows, regardless of holidays worked
Candidates employed by this health system within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish.
