Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Indianapolis, IN, working night shifts on a unit specializing in medical, surgical, renal, behavioral, and drug and alcohol withdrawal patients.

Details

Work in a 30-bed Medical/Surgical unit (Medical 4 South) within a hospital setting
Patient population includes medical, surgical, renal, behavioral, and drug and alcohol withdrawal cases
Patient ratio is 1:5
Schedule is three 12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours/week)
Every third weekend required, with the possibility of an assigned extra shift if needed
No on-call requirements
Float to like medical/surgical units as needed
EMR: Epic

Requirements

Active IN or Compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
US Social Security Number (SSN) required
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Navy scrubs required
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible to apply at a reduced rate
13-week contract

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything.
