Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at a Level II Trauma facility in Winchester, TN, requiring Meditech experience and a TN or Compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 44-bed Medical Surgical Combination unit at a 198-bed acute and skilled care facility designated as a Level II Trauma Center
- Patient population spans all ages
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
- EMR: Meditech (experience required)
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend required
- On-call as needed; if called in, must arrive at the facility within 30 minutes to 1 hour
- Floating required as needed
Requirements
- Active RN license valid in Tennessee (TN or Compact license) currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS certification required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
- Meditech EMR experience required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
Additional Information
- Comprehensive facility featuring a 10-bed ICU, Cardiac Cath Lab, five OR Suites, Endoscopy Suites, and a 13-bay Emergency Room
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
- Scrub color is open (any color acceptable); hoodies and casual wear are not permitted
