Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a night shift Progressive Critical Care Unit position requiring an active NY RN license and 2 years of recent specialty experience.

• Progressive Critical Care Unit setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active NYS RN license required
• BLS/ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required
• 2 years of recent experience in Progressive Critical Care or related specialty required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference within the past year required (charge nurse references not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must complete competency testing for ICU units with up to 2 attempts to pass
• Medical exemption (signed by a licensed professional) required for flu vaccine exemption; personal or religious declinations not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing support within a progressive care unit
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week assignment may result in contract termination, with required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties are not eligible for consideration
