Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at an academic medical center in Ohio.
Details
- Work setting includes adult acute care, ED, and bedside/portable procedures in a large academic teaching hospital
- Procedures include fluoroscopy studies (barium swallow/esophagus, contrast enema, myelography, upper GI series), C-arm/mobile surgical procedures, and portable X-ray
- 4x10 hour shifts on 2nd shift, 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Every third weekend required
- On-call required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with GE, Siemens, and PACS systems preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist working experience required (new graduates not considered)
- Active ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
- ODH (Ohio Department of Health) licensure required if applicable
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
- 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (e.g., supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as a 2nd reference; no coworker references accepted
- All certifications and licenses must be active at time of consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are eligible for this position, provided they have at least 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience
- Local candidates are accepted
- Former employees are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation from the facility; current employees at any Ohio State University hospital location are not eligible
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and will be built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
- Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after contract signing — candidates outside of Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an in-state fingerprinting location; those farther away will receive a fingerprinting packet by mail
- Multiple parking permit options are available for agency staff through CampusParc, ranging from garage access with shuttle service to dedicated on-campus garage access
