Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring 2+ years of IR experience, MA licensure, and ACLS certification.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
- 10-hour day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- Some weekend requirements to cover stress testing
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of IR experience required
- Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam
- Must pass dysrhythmia (ECG/Tele) and medication tests during onboarding, administered via Zoom prior to assignment start, with only one attempt allowed and an 85% passing score
- Documented professional development activities required
- Knowledge of critical paths required
- Charge nurse experience preferred
Additional Information
- Biweekly orientation schedule
- Weekend and holiday coverage expected
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position
- Candidates who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as travel, perm, or per diem staff within the last six months are not eligible and must have a six-month separation before returning
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront for consideration
