Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital radiology/MRI unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(MRI) certification.
Details
- Hospital-based radiology/MRI unit setting
- Adult patient population including ER, inpatient, and outpatient cases
- Cardiac MRI and Functional MRI experience preferred
- 1:1 patient-to-technologist ratio
- 8-hour evening shifts with varying start times between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM
- 32 hours per week with every third weekend rotation, holiday rotation, and on-call rotation
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
- ARRT (R)(MRI) advanced certification required
- Active CT state license required prior to start date — license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Previous travel experience highly preferred
Additional Information
- Orientation is held on Fridays on a bi-weekly schedule
- Staff are included in the unit rotation pool and may be required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage
- COVID and flu vaccines required; medical and religious declinations are accepted
- Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
- All requested time off must be disclosed at time of consideration; requests of more than 3 days are subject to manager approval
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
