Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital radiology/MRI unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(MRI) certification.

Details

• Hospital-based radiology/MRI unit setting
• Adult patient population including ER, inpatient, and outpatient cases
• Cardiac MRI and Functional MRI experience preferred
• 1:1 patient-to-technologist ratio
• 8-hour evening shifts with varying start times between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM
• 32 hours per week with every third weekend rotation, holiday rotation, and on-call rotation
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• ARRT (R)(MRI) advanced certification required
• Active CT state license required prior to start date — license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Previous travel experience highly preferred

Additional Information

• Orientation is held on Fridays on a bi-weekly schedule
• Staff are included in the unit rotation pool and may be required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage
• COVID and flu vaccines required; medical and religious declinations are accepted
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of consideration; requests of more than 3 days are subject to manager approval
