Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist (RN or Scrub Tech) for a 13-week travel assignment in Sierra Vista, AZ, requiring at least 2 years of experience in interventional cardiology and diagnostic/interventional cath lab procedures.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab (Interventional Cardiology) in a 90-bed facility
• Adult patient population with a primary focus on coronary artery disease (CAD)
• Cath Lab staff covers catheterization, stress testing, TEE, and tilt procedures
• Uses GE equipment and Cerner EHR
• Day shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Every other weekend required; on-call required for weekend hours
• Call requirements exceed 12 days per contract
• Occasional floating to Interventional Radiology (IR)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures
• RN license, RRT, or RCIS certification required (license required if applicable)
• AHA certifications required
• Experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care is preferred
• Cerner EHR experience preferred
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures including cath, stress testing, TEE, and tilt table studies
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Orientation is held bi-weekly
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
