Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position at a hospital in Elizabethtown, KY, working nights with weekend and holiday rotation.

• Labor & Delivery (LDRP) unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• 36 hours per week, 12 hours per day
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in medication administration, IV therapy, and medical equipment
• MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive, patient- and family-centered care including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Coordinate individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Mentor nursing staff and students, and support orientation of new team members
• Actively participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, and documentation audits
• Holiday coverage is required on a rotation basis
