Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring an active Ohio or compact license and at least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Contract length options ranging from 13 to 18 weeks
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (preferred)
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months required
• Background check must be clear with no open cases
• No license hits accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract

Additional Information

• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable score required (maximum of 2 attempts)
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's Nicotine Free requirement
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless otherwise approved
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this position
