Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and active RDCS and BLS certifications for a position requiring Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Averages 7–8 echocardiography scans per day
- Epic EMR is used and experience is required
- On-call requirements include 1–2 nights of call per week and 1–2 weekends of call per month
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of current Cardiovascular & Vascular Sonographer experience
- At least 1 prior travel contract completed
- Active RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification required; RCS also accepted
- Active RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification required
- ARDMS or CCI certification required
- Active BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
- Active Iowa state license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 2 years preferred
Additional Information
- Focused echocardiography skill set required; full cardiovascular skill set is not necessary
- Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
- Travelers are expected to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
