Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a night shift Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics position at a community hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and the ability to work a rotating 36/48-hour bi-weekly schedule.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment at a community hospital
• Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Adult patient population with potential for pediatric patients
• Night shift: rotating schedule of 3x12 and 4x12 hours per week (84 hours per two-week pay period), 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy required
• Active RRT license required; CRT accepted
• AHA BLS required
• Active compact or state license in hand required at time of consideration — no exceptions; license required if applicable
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• 2 professional references required: 1 Charge Nurse or higher, 1 supervisor reference, both completed within the last year
• Valid driver's license with address matching permanent address required
• Copy of certifications required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must be willing and able to work the rotating 36/48-hour bi-weekly schedule; inability to accept this schedule may result in cancellation
• Up to 7 days of RTO will be considered; RTO must be declared upfront and no changes will be accepted after submission
• Must work either a major or minor holiday for every holiday period
• Travelers who have worked within the system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
• Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; paired travelers will not be placed on the same shift or unit
• Any license hits or background check issues must be disclosed upfront
