Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology experience for a role requiring Epic proficiency.

Details

  • Work in a combined Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting
  • 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Weekend shifts required
  • Call requirement every 4th day plus 1 weekend per month
  • Holiday coverage required for 2 major and 1 minor holidays
  • Utilizes Philips single plane/bi-plane, Inari, Pembra, Pounce, Impella, IABP, US, CSI Shockwave, Rotoblade, IVUS (Boston, Philips), Carto Abbott, and X-Per equipment
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience required
  • IR and EP experience required
  • ARRT(R) or RCIS certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • LSRT certification required (temporary LSRT accepted; license required if applicable)
  • ACLS and Advanced ARRT certifications preferred
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Teaching hospital experience preferred
  • Experience with procedural responsibilities including EKG lead placement, room circulation, and maintaining sterile field
  • Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Watchman, left/right heart catheterization, and Impella insertion
  • Experience with EP procedures including cardiac ablation, mapping, AICD insertion/programming, LAA closure, and pacemaker insertion
  • Experience with vascular studies including angioplasty, carotid stenting, TIPS, and dialysis graft interventions
  • Two supervisor references dated within the last 12 months required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Perform a wide range of cardiac cath lab, EP, IR, vascular, neurological, and genitourinary procedures
  • Additional skills include coil embolization, rotablator use, ablations, peripheral procedures, and venous access
  • Hospital-provided scrubs
  • Locals within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate regardless of specialty
  • 75-mile radius rule applies
  • Permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible to travel
  • First-time travelers are not accepted for this role
