Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a night shift travel contract in Hawaii, requiring an active HI RN license and ACLS/ENPC certifications.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting at a hospital in Wailuku, Hawaii (Maui)
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR in use

Requirements

• Active Hawaii (HI) RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ENPC (or PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration — pending credentials are not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent ER experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Preferred: BSN or related field, CEN, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale certification, and demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias

Additional Information

• Local candidates are welcome to apply, as the local rate is the same as the travel rate
• Candidates with prior assignments at Kaiser Permanente facilities should be aware that contingent workers may not exceed two years of cumulative work within a two-year period without a minimum 90-day break in service
