Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience and prior travel experience for a 13-week night shift contract in an Emergency Department setting.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting with a bed count of 8
• Patient population spans all ages, from birth to end of life
• NICU experience is preferred; no PICU on site
• Performs phlebotomy, EKGs, and orthopedic splinting (Ortho glass) in addition to standard respiratory therapy duties
• 12-hour night shifts, 18:45–07:15, 36 hours per week
• Schedule must remain flexible to meet unit needs; block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• No call or float required

Requirements

• Active RRT license; TN license required if applicable (RCT license not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP

Additional Information

• Gray scrubs required
• NICU experience is preferred
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within 75 miles of the facility may be subject to a different pay rate
