Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of pediatric critical care experience for a float outpatient pediatric position requiring PICU, NICU, and ED background.
Details
- Outpatient pediatric facility with float coverage across multiple locations
- Float position covering ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas
- Pediatric patient population including PICU, NICU, and ED settings
- 12-hour day shifts with varied scheduling
- Every other weekend required
- EMR: Epic
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience required
- Extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED required
- Level I trauma experience highly preferred; Level II trauma experience will be considered
- Active Georgia (GA) RRT license required; license required if applicable
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Epic EMR experience
- Two professional references preferred
- DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Nicotine-free facility; nicotine testing is conducted alongside the standard drug screen
- Flu vaccine required if working during flu season
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront at the time of consideration
