Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN Circulator for a Day Shift travel contract requiring an active Ohio or Compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of permanent OR experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
- Role focuses on circulator responsibilities; scrub experience is preferred
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Active BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required — no pending certifications accepted
- Minimum 18 months of permanent OR experience required
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the OR specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required for consideration — co-worker references are not accepted
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Background check review required; open cases or license hits will not be accepted
- No travel experience required — first-time travelers are welcome to apply
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- All requested time off (RTO) must be discussed during the interview process
- Travelers may only be submitted for one position at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System
- Former permanent or per diem Cleveland Clinic employees must have an end date at least one year prior to starting this assignment
- Orientation includes an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment, both of which must be passed with an acceptable score; a maximum of two attempts are allowed — failure to pass may result in cancellation
- BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract
- Nurses are exempt from the facility's Nicotine-Free requirements (exemption is temporary and honored until further notice)
- Pre-start online modules are required and typically range from 6–15 hours; timing and volume vary by specialty
