Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Pennsylvania, requiring prior Cath Lab and IR experience along with Epic proficiency.

Details

Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
Procedures include vascular studies, angioplasty, carotid stenting, and upper and lower extremity angiography
4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
On-call coverage required for off-shift and weekends with a 30-minute response requirement
Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
Floating required as needed
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Active PA or Compact RN license required; no license violations accepted
Current AHA or ARC certifications: ACLS and BLS
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Prior Cath Lab and IR experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Proficiency in sheath removal and monitoring, vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose), dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and radiation and laser safety
Must be able to respond on-call within 30 minutes

Additional Information

Candidates undergo a clinical screening process prior to manager review and interview
May be required to care for COVID-positive patients
This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility
EKG exam must be completed and passed within 72 hours of contract signing, where applicable
Pre-start orientation modules are required and typically take 5–6 hours to complete
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a different pay rate
Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) per contract
Travel pairs are accepted, though matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
