Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience with expertise in Neuro and Ortho procedures.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital OR/surgical unit
• Neuro and Ortho cases make up the majority of the caseload; robotics experience is also utilized
• Travelers must be versatile and experienced across multiple OR specialties
• Schedule is 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week (0630–1900)
• Call is required
• Charting is done in Cerner

Requirements

• Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (must not be expired)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
• Expertise in Neuro and Ortho surgical cases required
• Robotics experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff who have worked at this health system must have taken a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront prior to offer — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
• References are not required for initial consideration but will be needed during the compliance process
