Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics (IMC) position requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience, AHA-certified BLS and ACLS, and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Inpatient Med/Surg Orthopedics unit (not a step-down or IMC unit)
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts (0700–1930), 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
- Weekend availability required
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Orthopedics RN experience required
- Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — all must remain active through the start of the assignment
- TNCC preferred
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care including health teaching, counseling, and restorative therapies
- Reviews and monitors treatment plans, executes delegated medical functions, and refers patients for further evaluation as needed
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Candidates who have been permanent employees of any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Any approved time off (RTO) requests should be communicated upfront during the consideration process
