Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a night shift (7P-7A) position in a hospital-based Emergency Department requiring TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI Blue certification.

Details

• Emergency Room CMP unit with 18 beds
• Staffing of 3-5 RNs per shift with 2 RNs on days, 2-3 RNs on mid shift, and 2 RNs on nights
• Patient ratios vary by acuity, typically 4:1
• Equipment includes LifePak, Lucas, Philips, and GE devices
• Meditech EMR system in use
• Night shift schedule from 7P to 7A
• Typical procedures include IVs, EKGs, foley catheters, splinting, wound care, wound infiltration, medication administration, and patient assessments

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of current Emergency Department RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI Blue card
• ENPC may be substituted with PALS
• Prior experience in a large hospital setting preferred
• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
