Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a combined Med/Surg and Emergency Dept position requiring a CA RN license and at least 2 years of ER nursing experience for a 13-week night shift contract.
Details
- Hospital-based position covering both Med/Surg and Emergency Department depending on departmental needs
- Patient populations include adult med/surg, orthopedic med/surg, pediatric med/surg, and emergency room cases
- Night shift schedule
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CA RN license in good standing required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
- TNCC certification required within one year of hire
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills
Additional Information
- This is a flexible, cross-coverage role requiring the ability to work in both the Med/Surg and Emergency departments as needed
- Caribbean Blue scrubs are required for all nursing staff
- All temporary workers are required to complete an annual Sexual Harassment Prevention Training with a certificate of completion
