Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a critical access hospital in Vermont, requiring active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Critical access hospital setting
Med/Surg Telemetry unit serving a mixed adult patient population including med-surg, ortho, observation, and step-down cases
Day shift schedule
13-week contract

Requirements

Active RN license for Vermont (Standard or Compact)
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications required — all must be active prior to contract start, or a booked course must be confirmed at time of clinical orientation
De-escalation training required — must be active prior to start or a booked course confirmed at orientation
Experience in med/surg telemetry nursing required

Additional Information

Provides age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with nursing standards
Assumes leadership responsibilities including delegation of tasks to other staff members
Must comply with all applicable state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and policies
