Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract, working Friday through Sunday on 12-hour shifts with AHA certifications required.

Details

• Work setting is an acute care hospital Emergency Room (ER)
• Night shift schedule: Friday through Sunday, 12-hour shifts (1830–0700)
• 13-week contract
• Charting system is Cerner (transitioning to Epic)

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license required by start date
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Two professional references required for consideration: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years of relevant experience

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 6 months, and hospital approval is required prior to placement
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a adjusted travel pay rate
• BSN is not required for this position
